Buckinis - Activated - Raw Organic
Organic Activated Buckinis - in 3 flavours Plain; Caramelised and Deluxe. Buckwheat alkalises our bodies, and is a rich source of protein, rutin and manganese.
What is it?
Buckinis are made with Buckwheat. Buckwheat, despite its name, is not actually wheat. In fact it's not even a grain...it's a fruit! Buckwheat belongs to the Achene family of fruits, which also includes strawberries.
To activate the Buckwheat, we soak it, wash and rinse it, then dehydrate it at low temperatures (under 40 degrees celcius). This allows for easier digestion and absorption of nutrients.
The Plain Buckinis have no flavouring and are just the activated Buckwheat.
To make the Caramelised Buckinis we flavour the Buckwheat with Agave, Mesquite and Cinnamon after we have soaked it and before we dry it.
The Deluxe Mix includes our Activated Caramelised Buckinis along with an exotic array of the most delicious superfoods we could find.
