Our Story

Living Earth Pty. Ltd. (now trading as Loving Earth), is a Melbourne based company dedicated to sourcing the highest quality organic and wildcrafted functional foods from around the world. We have established long term relationships with several indigenous cooperatives in Central and South America and Australasia helping them add as much value as possible to their raw products at the point of origin.

Scott Fry the founding director of Loving Earth spent 11 years working and studying in developing countries like India and Mexico. In India he was studying yoga and got involved with a community development project and organic farming in particular.  In Mexico he worked with various indigenous organic grower associations. In particular he worked with a Mayan Indigenous grower association in Chiapas, Mexico where he was introduced to the magical qualities of the Royal Cacao of Soconusco and to several Enviromental Visionaries who are championing the Organic movement in Mexico. After experiencing the exceptional health benefits of consuming raw cacao, he began discovering some of the other traditional foods of mexico and latin america that have unique and powerful nutritional qualities.

The purpose of Loving Earth is to make these foods available to you in a way that honors both the Indigenous people that have cultivated them for thousands of years and the earth and ecosystems in which they are grown. We have also been developing a range of raw chocolate products in our commercial kitchen here in Melbourne. We are currently working on other product ranges that meet all of our healthy sustainable fair principles that form the foundation of all our Loving Earth products.

Our vision is to be able to take the manufacturing of the products we develop back to the indigenous communities, who grow and process the raw materials.
